Hi Andrew & James, Yes it is basically the Baroque / Romantic tuning with the basses adjusted to suit the kef of the theme and then subsequent variations.

Andrew, This tuning is typically what one uses with baroque/romantic tuning when playing in E. As with lutes, one retunes the basses to suit the key. James.
