Julie, My grey is about six or seven (I'm his third person so I don't know his birthdate) and he likes to hang upside down, too. I think they tend to do that.

The grey I got Sunday is 20+ and acts just like other greys I have had that were alot younger. So yes, I am sure it depends on the individual bird.
