Mike, Does your unit have the ability to reset the error codes. If so reset the codes and check again after a cold start and warm up. see if it shows the same

I would suggest if you are going to pull the dogbox, the dist cap and all, you may as well replace the wires and plugs. 4 of the plugs aren't too bad to do.
