Jos, Bouko, Group, The matter has arisen re WWII military aircraft carrying DCA registration markings used as radio call signs. These were not RAAF callsigns.

One small correction: the RAAF call signs were VHxxx, without the dash. As indicated. these radio call signs and not registrations. Jos

From photos it appears they had Dutch markings. Most of the B-25s came from 18 Sq, were changed to transport-mode and received RAAF call signs (VH-xxx) on the
