Most people launch from Britannia on the south side of the point, right in front of the Brit parking lot. It is possible to launch closer to Brent's house

Depending on the delamination, it may also be possible to repair it, not back to new, but good enough for kiting...I'm sure other might have tips on epoxy

Flip it around and use it for kiteboarding. You mostly use 1 edge kiteboarding (heel side) so keep it for those rougher conditions and just stick to heel side
