I'm very happy with my Sigma 10-20mm. It's a variable aperture (f/4-5.6) but the current version is a constant f/3.5 so it costs more.

Not until they make a K-mount camera with a full frame sensor for all the K-mount lenses out there.(Use with an M42 adapter is really not too troublesome.)
