Had my first game with the new rules. (well half game actually since we spent half the time reading things in the rules). First impressions are very positive.

Companies. I had a rifle platoon with 3 Brens, and a carrier platoon with 6 Brens. Plus an HMG platoon, with carriers. In the other game I had only 6 Brens,

One of Lee's German companies had only one LMG group. One of my British companies had 9 LMGs and 4 HMGs, and put out a tremendous amount of lead. Cheers John

The reports of Lee's appalling dice luck are all true... two games today (only my third and fourth games against "live" opponents) and my 8th Army comfortably
