I suggest putting in a brand new baseball if you as the umpire think it's getting dark. Gives you an extra 5 minutes (relatively) steve

You can't suspend tournament games for darkness. If it is not tied it reverts back to last complete inning. You can only continue if you have a tied game. A

We will suspend and make up if there is any question and it is the umps call. But at 5 complete innings we will not continue. The game is official. Russ

We had that exact sit evolve in a tourney 8-6 game 6 innings in called due to darkness in an elimination game the next nite we started earlier no problem

Dump the coach for unsportsmanlike conduct and finish the game then start junior games earlier on non-lighted fields remember junior level is the minors of 90
