The high speed coil....whats the part number anyone? is it 3r5-85511-20-00, 3R5-85512-20-00 or 4V6-85580-20-00 I am trying to source one, but I don't know

I would put it between the switched hot and ground. If you install it before the switch it will be under a lot of load when the lights are off. It just shorts

Your coil puts out way more than 6V and the bulbs' load brings the voltage down but not far enough. I had the same problem with my IT175 so I took a regulator

At a second listen,, definitely take the silencer off and see if that helps. Sometimes you can just take the core out. I recently took mine out and cleaned it.
