As you say, the file appears to 'be there' the player moves in sync, but nothing comes out unless it's a local file. I really think something is not 'kosher'

Works OK for me using either Firefox or IE7 with Windows Media Player, or Quicktime Player directly from the voice mail menu. Sometimes they are a bit flaky
