And now a question about Goa. There appear to be two roads from Savantwadi to Pernem. One goes left via Banda, while the other appears longer but is the NH17.

The approach from bannerghata is same as it was ...it does get a bittricky when it rains ....still its manageable..i did this stretch 2-3 days ago ...

I am not sure what will be the quality of that road even if it exists. If you are not starting early morning then you are going to face lot of traffic snarls
