All the engine and frame numbers started at 1001. There is an exception, the Indian Patrols. The 3W-2XXX-PT engine number show that these started at 2001.

From some information printed by the IVOA, Indian Vertical Owners Association, year and date unknown, here is what was said. 149/ADI, Arrow, 1949, 3749 total

Pete, Thanks for the information on the required thickness of the clutch pack. Relining the original plates with Kevlar makes sense to me. Ron

I don't know about King Clutch but I have original friction plates relined with Kevlar. They seem to work better than original and last longer. The advantage
