Peter: Have you had your uric acid level checked?? are you taking Allopurinol--the HU increases uric acid levels: gout, or what feels like arthritis pains.

As long as you keep up a dialogue with your hemo doc, I suspect your side effects are a result of your body adjusting to the HU or maybe just the progression

BEVIE: My experience--when I got a phlebotomy they monitored my oxygen level--always in the high 90's--if it dropped to 92 they asked me to breathe deeply.
