Okay John, There's your confirmation, Levi knows his stuff. So, you could install a changer somewhere with questionable results and/or questionable ergonomics

no metal to metal contact found, but I put the old bushing in the vise, and with the prybar in the whole you see a nice break in the bushing and all the oil

the rear bushing on my right front control arm broke, that was the issue, I replaced it today, and my steering is tight again. john
