Jim, Yep, it seems to be a fairly common part that needs to be replaced. I had to do it on my '99 OBS about a year ago. However, I paid NOWHERE near $190.

hey i just got the same code about a week ago. I just changed the knock sensor myself. It's easy its on the driver side of the engine, under the throttle

I made a DTC reading after my "Check Engine" light has been off and on for number of weeks. It spit out a code: PO325 for a Knock Sensor Circuit Malfunction.
