Ah yes, you are right.. I checked my YAMAHA DB50XG Wavetable upgradeboard manual again, and only saw a checksum needed for "XG native Bulk Dump" and "QS300

As far as I am aware of, Yamaha does not use Checksum, so you can use the string without it, as follows: F0 43 device model 12 address address .. F7.
