The Sakbe have three levels based on status. Given it's Tekumel I would suspect that relative status even within the same level would determine right of way.

probably true but people tend to be herd animals in situations like that so they would tend to group themselves into streams for no other reason than to keep

That is what I meant - what side do they "drive on". Aren't all those cultures just following the British? Somebody told me that the British drive on the left
