There's really no reason to rush into surgery on the second hip. Jersey may do fine with only one hip repaired. FHO or hip replacement surgery, if needed,

Happy, happy! X-rays don't always tell the full story. We must look at the whole dog and the symptoms s/he presents, not just radiographs which can vary

All I can say is wow ... Dieter got a clean bill of health from his Eval! The xrays at MU were much clearer than those at my vet ... and his hips looked good.

I don't know if having one hip with a TPO and one with a FHO makes a difference in the gait. Did you get a reason why he/she feels the gait would be off.. and
