I recommend using electrical lube available at any auto parts store for a buck. Keeps the socket dry and will ease removal when needed. ... From: Larry Plass

I replaced my '95 Speed Triple (single headlight carb model) turn signals a month or two back with some aftermarket jobbies (non-LED), and they worked fine.
