I don't think it matters for you whether you have the plate or not, given that 10 years is beyond the period for which bikes stay in the DMV's computer system.

Hi Eric, I just did this with the California DMV a couple of months ago. I have a 1980's gray-market Moto Guzzi that I registered. I didn't want to use the
