FJR fork concern?

When taking off my front wheel, I noticed the right fork leg splayed about 3/16" when I unscrewed the axle bolt. Is this normal, or is the fork bent? Thanks

Interestingly the dealer has on 08 FJR in with exactly the same problem. They have spoken to Yamaha UK who have absolutely no idea what the problem might be.
